What should I change on my pc to run games better on a budget?

AMD phenom II 3.2ghz x4
Nvidia GeForce 9500gt
4g ram

So far I'd replace the video card.

It's the bottleneck for gaming and more. For other uses I'd bump the ram to it's maximum.

Many 420 Watt PSUs have split rails so I can't use those for many video cards. The full detail is usually on the sticker of the PSU and might be on the product specification of the PC maker's web site. You can save a lot of posts by telling the forum the make, model of the PC or if a self built PC the make/model of the parts.
