Need help picking gaming computer

by leeple - 8/26/12 10:32 AM

Hey everyone,
My brother broke my old computer which I was using for gaming mainly and I was trying to buy a new one on craigslist. I got some responses but I'm not sure what to pick because sites differ too greatly on ratings of graphics cards and processors.
I like to play new games like the witcher, stacraft 2 and LoL, but also old games like the dark queen of krynn. I like the games to be able to run fast and smoothly but am not too picky about seeing the very blades of grass on the ground (I used to have a geforce 8600 graphics card i think)
I am hoping to spend around 400-500 on a new computer, and cheaper is nice, but am willing to spend a little more if it will really make a huge difference.
Here are the craigslist ads I have gotten response from:
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sys/3207168585.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sys/3218856264.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sys/3218836341.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/sys/3225926811.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/sys/3220094460.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sys/3222562780.html
http://stockton.craigslist.org/sys/3148915137.html
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/sys/3226876728.html
and http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/sys/3219378503.html
Please tell me if there are any that are bad and I should ignore, or any that are much more worth it based on price, or rank them based on how well they would run new games, or let me know which of them (I'm not sure whats the deal with win 7 64 bit, I hear mixed stories) would be unable to run older games. Any advice is greatly appreciated I'm planning to buy one today or in the next few days.
