Coupons / Promotional Codes

I'm looking at buying a PC through the online HP store.

They have a box at checkout where you can enter promotional codes and get coupons basically.

I found one through HP's store that gives an extra $25 off.

Now I'm looking for more on the internet and I see some that claim "extra 20% off".

Are these 5 figure coupons legit?

You don't know about coupon codes until finalizing the deal. You try them to see if they work first by entering the code just prior to checkout. NEVER give a CC# in advance of testing the coupon. If any site wants that first, run away as fast as you can. It's easy enough to use google to find coupons for products but you'll also not find these to be current. Some tend to be valid only for a week or so. I can also tell you from experience that another offer is likely to replace the coupon offer right after it expires. Now, if you're really brave, after your purchase you can check back to see if your item goes down in price later. This very often happens as models change frequently. Checking back later is for those who don't mind torture. Enjoy. happy
