The PSU you linked seems to be somewhat more stable, but the thing that sold it for me was the extra cable length. It could come in handy, but the "$5 extra bucks" is only the sale price. It's $140 if I don't get it on sale, but I plan on ordering soon so it shouldn't be a problem!

Alright so from what I can tell everything I have up to this point is compatible and stable. That being said does it look like a green light for the final purchase or does anyone have some final thoughts on it??

I'll be purchasing this build on or before the 28th unless someone can point out something I'm missing.

The OS is going to be Windows 7 x64bit Student Edition because I already own it and don't see the need to go out and buy another one. I may possibly get a Ubuntu Partition if I get bored, but that's not a necessity, just something I might look at.

As for the RAM, do you mean that there are other ones out there that are "better" or just not as "tall," because (and correct me if I'm wrong) I've been under the impression that the larger fins help to disperse heat by increasing surface area. I'm not sure if that's really true, but still.

The Heat Sink Fan will remain as the stock fan for a while. I have plans to upgrade it a better one, but my budget is tight enough as it is. That being said I will be upgrading it to a better one later and I should be able to compensate for any odd shaped parts by then.

Thanks for the links though, I'll definitely check them out when the time comes haha.

As for everything else I'm assuming the build is solid? Everything's compatible I hope?
