Alright guys so I put up a post the other day asking if some parts for a Desktop build were compatible and now I have the full build set up.
I'm a media arts student and so the large display and storage is a must for working with Photoshop and After Effects. Also I'm a serious gamer, game modder, and 3D Modeler so the more power and graphics the better. I would also like to keep this at around the current price that it's at now and I would appreciate some feedback before I make the final purchase.
So here's what I have right now:
Motherboard @ $100 :

RAM @ $55 :

Power Supply @ $100 :

Optical Drive @ $80 :

Storage @ $86 :

Monitor @ $190 :

Tower @ $100 :

Total cost of everything with shipping is $1036.73
So here's what I'm asking for if anybody's willing to help me out here:
-First off, is there anything in this build that is not compatible or that you wouldn't recommend and why.
-Next, is this a decent build or did I make a fail build?
-Am I getting my money's worth?
-What types of tools should I buy to help actually build this when I get it? Like thermal compound and screwdrivers, etc?
-Finally, Any suggestions on what I could add/remove etc? Did I miss something?
