Hi, I'm sorry if I'm going over old ground, but I am having an issue with my Dad's computer. He told me that one day it worked then the next day it didn't. I have booted it up and it displays an orange power light, and there is a 1 displayed on the front. I quickly read thru the manual which stated that a 1 was a memory issue. I have done the taking out, and trying each module seperately, but still the same, so I bought some new RAM for it, still the same. Now I am at a loss, as I can only think of going through thing systematically and that could be expensive, especially for an 80 year old. We have bought them a laptop, but he can't get on with it, so the desktop need to be fixed. There is power on the board, as the green light is on next to the RAM, and the network light is working for the router, which says to me that the motherboard is excepting power. Has anybody else had this problem? Many Thanks
