floppy install, redux

My personal thread on this subject was apparently too long, so I will end it here.
Much great thanks to Mr. Proffitt and all who asissted in this discussion.
I have now realized that suggested procedures are well beyond my level of competence and would probably lead to destrucyion of my CPU. Alternatively, I would have to replace (downgrade) my mobd to one with a floppy drive socket.

Consequently, today I purchased an external floppy drive from my locat computer store, PnP, etc.

Perhaps I will reactivate my old Dell computer and buy a cheap hd + dheaper os to run it.

Anyway, this has been a learning experience for me. Again, I wish to thank all who participated.
