packard Bell desktop doesn't show any dispaly

Hi All,

Wondering anyone can help pls?
My desktop started with not recognising my mouse. I tried both usb and the other. But the keyboard did work with usb. I tried unplugging the mouse, restarted computer, then usb mouse worked for a while, but then there were some noise from the tower and it seemed as if it was loosing power and the back on again . it repeated few times and I just lost my display.
Now when I start the computer, the fan spins and computer makes the normal noise, but no display. I cant turn it off using the switch on the tower either. I have to unplugg the code to do that.
Can anyone give any advise pls?

You can't turn-OFF the PC suggest you have a bad PSU. Make sure, you depress the power ON/OFF button for a longer time and check results. If it still doesn't shutdown, then think getting a new PSU that your PB uses. It maybe generic and not cost much, but you gave no details of what your PB is. Also, if this is a video card supplied video, reseat it and firmly return it and try again. No go, remove all drives for the test(disconnect entirely) and check results. If it seems to want to work then, a bad PSU, its too weak. If video i supplied by mtrbd.(no video card) then the mtrbd. is shot and a bad PSU is wonky. I suggest you rethink getting a new mtrbd. or PC, due to cost. Also, turning-OFF the PC is mtrbd. related, again a possible bad mtrbd. on top of bad PSU which may have been the crux of your PC problems, continued use added more to it. Those are areas, I'll check and proceed from there.

Replace PSU, best to have PSU in hand and read the decal/label and google for similar part.
