Hi I did not see information in a simular post to help me decide if it's worth upgrading to Windows 7 or 8? I have an old HP Desktop runnung XP and two older laptops running Vista. They all have 64 Bit procerssors with at lease 2 Meg RAM. I ran the little test program that lets you know if WIndows 7 can work and the all passed. I am thinking to upgrade to have all computers on the same OS. I was not planning on upgrading any hardware, money is REALLY tight, I can buy a 3 computer family pack of Windows 7 for $150. Mainly for the ability for them to "talk" to each other well and hopefully get some form of ability to run 64 bit applications, Probably no speed increase from 32 bit for such old machines, but I was hoping there might be some? For example when I am playing with my 40-75 Meg. Sketchup drawings, it is quite slow. Hoping an upgrade might help? Just getting all the computers more into the present day especially when XP is soon to be too old for support and on the "same" page might be worth it in itself? Any advice GREATLY appriciated!
Thanks, Matte.
