In Dec right before Christmas I purchased a Dell for my son who needs it for college. Dell said if there were any upgrades within 30 days I would be able to get the upgrades for free. I received a catalogue that said there are upgrades to my sons dell. Dell said that they would put all the upgrades and send my son a new updated laptop. When I received the new laptop upgraded I turned over the old laptop to Airborne Express and they gave me a receipt. A few months later they say they didnt receive the old laptop and I told them that I have a receipt and I gave them the number and date of pickup. When they called Airborne, Dell was told that it was lost in transit. From that point on, Dell has been calling me each week. It is now 13 months later and they are CHARGING ME for the lost laptop, but I told them again, I have a receipt, I sent them a copy again, and again they said I had to pay for it. The new laptop works great my son said, but I KEEP TELLING DELL that I DO NOT HAVE THE OLD LAPTOP, AIRBORNE has it or lost it or stole it, but thats not my concern. Every week Dell collection keeps calling me and I sent them 25 pages of this ongoing problem with them. I have now told them if you call me anymore, I will have some choice words (curse words), so they continue to call and I continue to curse, they dont like it but I can't make you understand anything, if you dont want to listen, they just keep talking, and talking. I am prepared to go to court with Dell but my lawyer said let them take you to court then we can show all the emails and emails and documents and etc. etc. etc. I will NEVER, NEVER purchase another anything from Dell as long as I live. STAY AWAY FROM DELL, go to HP, they are really cooperative with you. So, as of this date, the problem still goes on and I will make no further contact with Dell. I am fed up.
