A770M-A AM2+/AM2 is not reading additional 2Gb added to 4gb

by No0bl0v3 - 5/20/10 1:07 PM

If my question is still confusing, I am basically trying to add 2GB on to the 4GB of RAM being read(3/4 slots). When I add the memory it doesn't read in BIOS or in Windows 7. It should from what I've read, register and calculate it as an extra single channel but it's not reading at all.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with this motherboard:

I'm trying to add a different brand but the memory has the same specs as the RAM already placed.
The RAM are these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144259&cm_re=geil-_-20-144-259-_-Product

Any help is appreciated thank you.
