ATI 1250 Radeon Driver Causing Hibernation Problems

Hello, I've been checking the Advanced Tools settings under the Performance and Information center and although I've tried updating the software for the driver, the Advanced Tools center keeps saying that the driver is causing Hibernation and Sleep problems, like my computer maybe taking to long to go in and out of hibernation.

Does anyone have any suggestions, short of getting new hardware?

How long?

I find today's owners demand "now" rather than the usual 1 minute times we've seen for years.

Here's a tip. When using sleep and hibernation close all programs so there is not as much to write out.

It was Free AVG slowing it down. While I can accept that given the price the owner didn't feel the free AV was worth the extra 10 seconds so they went with another AV.
