Hello, I'm building a new PC with the following components.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 2.40GHZ 1066FSB 4MB Retail
Motherboard: ASUS P5B Deluxe / WIFI-AP ATX LGA775 Conroe 965P DDR2 PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI 8 SATA2 Sound Motherboard
RAM: OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB SATA2 7200RPM 16MB 8.9MS Hard Drive
Video card: EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800 GTS 500MHZ 640MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card
DVD drive: LG GSA-H22L DVD+RW 18X8X16 DVD-RW 18X6X16 DL 8X Lightscribe DVD Writer IDE 2MB Black OEM
I still need to get a case and power supply for the system. I have an old ATX case. Would it be cheaper to get just a new power supply or would it make more sense to buy a case and supply together? Any recommendations on how many watts and what model case I should get? I basically want the cheapest possible that will provide enough power.
