Desktop Temps

I just built a new desktop (see specs on profile) and I wanted to know the average temperature of what it should be. My case has a temp gauge on it and the upper says 60.8 and the lower says 40.8 degrees c. Thanks.

where are the thermal diodes located? i believe that those temp gauges/monitors have thermal diodes for you to place on your hard drive, any heat sinks, psu, etc. your cpu should be in the 40s and maybe slightly in the low 50s.

under normal room temperature and even if the overall temperature is a little higher, these should be temps of various components in operation. The airflow in your case would determine a lot too.
