Wireless Internet forum: Repeater?

So I live in a converted shed about 20 meters from the main house, the wireless signal is minimal in the shed.

Would a repeater be the way to go to boost the signal to improve my signal inside my shed?

Are there other options that may be better for this situation?

Did you try placing your wifi router in a window you can see

At that many meters, I've never had to do more than put the WiFi router in the second story window that I can see from the shed.
