Has anyone used MIFI before? I want to use it, what are your thoughts?
....I've looked through many forums and discussions even plenty of topics on this website but have not yet found the answer to what i'm looking for. 
I'm looking for the fastest unlimited WIRELESS internet for my laptop anywhere and anytime. I do alot of traveling so i need internet access all the time within the U.S. while on the road, on a plane, in the woods....everywhere. lol
+Unlimited (I don't want to be limited to how long i can be browsing for or a limit to a specific number of downloads. )
+Needs to support atleast 5 devices at a time.
+Fast ( don't want to be uploading a business file and have to wait hours for a small file)
+Monthly Payment (No contracts! I want to pay monthly and not have to worry about hidden agendas or hidden fees)
It wouldn't matter how expensive it is because i'm planning to maybe share the bill with a friend or two that will also have a device for wireless internet under the same account...hopefully that makes any sense.
Also, hopefully there is such thing.
I apologize for the ignorance.

ALL of them have limits. Even the unlimited ones drop your speed after so many gigabytes.
Since there is not one truly unlimited plan I wonder if that's a failure for you. You tell me.
I had a MiFi and it worked great.
As to your plan, I'm not a sales person so you check with each carrier until you get a match but as I had one I can shed a little light on the use.
-> Here's the one area that seems to enrage some users. Around here the connection drops and comes back on 1 or 2 hour intervals. It's not a big deal for web browser folk or getting email but a few want to download movies via a torrent and it seems to P.O. them and the gamers.

Hmm...can you give me an example with the plan you were on maybe? (Including how much you were paying monthly and how many mifi devices you owned)
None of them are unlimited...understood. Now, if i am on a 5gb plan per se how do i know if i'm exceeding those 5gb? My question is more geared towards how the limitation process works...like what is one limited to? Browsing time? # of Downloads?
Keeping it to my personal use only.

The office uses sticks and again my plan was from sprint. They failed gloriously so I never knew what the deal was. Very strange. Today I'd take a look at Virgin Mobile.
I can't do your shopping and the plans changed from when I had mine but the 1 to 2 hour drop seems to be pretty constant as it keeps those folk that want to run torrents and downloads off the air.
