cannot connect all computers wirelessly

I have an old DI-524 D-Link wireless router. I use WEP security and also filter using mac address. I am unable to add 2 new computers to work with the router wirelessly while the same computers work without issue with the same router and a wired connection. I have entered the mac addresses of both wireless and Ethernet adapters to the filters.

Other devices - my 3rd computer, phone, home theater, Wii console, all work wirelessly with the DI-524.

Anybody know what the issue might be ? I have tried customer support but the router is out of warranty

And found the MAC filtering to fail. Since it could not step up to WPA and we know that kid friendly hack tools let us connect to said router even with MAC filtering I gifted this one to my brother who sold it.

There are other issues with this router such as what happens when you get many devices on it. Try it with the mac filtering off and look around for a connection limit setting. Some were as low as 5. No, I don't remember where the setting was but I go look for that.
