I did some google searches about this subject, and it seems that 2, 3 or more wireless routers can be connected to provide better wireless range.
The first router is the primary router, and it is connected to the modem, sets the IP address.
The second router connects, with a cat5e cable, to a LAN port on the first router, can have the same SSID, but its IP address is changed (by at least one digit). The DHCP is disabled on the second router.
If a third router is connected, would it connect (with a cat5e cable) to a LAN on the second router?
The 3rd router would also have the DHCP disabled, and another IP address change.
In summary, if router 1 (primary) is IP 192.168.1.1, then router 2 could be 192.168.1.2, and router 3 could be 192.168.1.3. All can have the same security password, DHCP disabled on routers 2 & 3, and the same SSID.
