Increasing internet speed's within a Fraternity

Hello everyone,
I had to sign up so I could ask all you pro's a couple questions.

I live in a Fraternity that houses around 60 some people. The internet is pretty bad for the most part. Wifi in the house is unbearable, as it seems to go down every 10 minutes or so.

Our school is located in a place where the only internet is hosted by Time Warner. I'm wondering if there is anyway i could boost internet speed's in the house?

Unless you get more connections from TW, no matter what you do, you are still sharing that same connection.

And the really smart person would provide more wired connections since you know why wifi is shared space and we need to reduce the number there.
