Extremly disappointed

Hi all -- would like to share a bit of information: Bought a D link router, DIR 645 last year in Dec in Germany. Took it with me to Dubai where I life. No the router has stopped working, 10 month into the 2 year warranty. No problem I thought, go to the local authorised dealer / reseller as I have a world wide warranty. Well how wrong was I ! D link doesn t offer a world wide guarantee, i.e. the middle east is not covered by the warranty. That s what I was told by d link reps in Dubai, I have to go back to Germany -- what a joke. I bouy an american car in Dubai and have to send the car back to the USA if it break down ?? Beside the fact that the unit didn t last for more than 10 month I m not going to touch an d link product in my life be it the last one on the shelf. This company is an insult to consumer rights, be aware and their warranty policy is simply non existing. Stay away !!!!
