I need help choosing a wireless router

I just purchased an iPhone 4 and some of the apps need a wireless connection. I am retired and only need to use the wireless connection for the iPhone, my PC hp pavilion HPE and a Kindle. Comcast told me to hook up a wireless router to my existing Arris TM402P/110. Some of the routers I have looked at cost 3 times more than I paid for my phone. Can someone help me choose a router that will work for my usage and not break the bank.

I see a few under 30 bucks and if you have Amazon Prime you can return one if it doesn't work out for you for free.
