Wireless card: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6520 AGN
- has most current driver (version 15.1.1.1)
- channel width for 2.4 & 5.2 bands = auto
- n mode is enabled
- wireless mode (has no n option): 802.11g
- other settings are default
Router: D-Link DIR-655 revB
-firmware is one before most current as other D-Link users said current caused issues: 2.03NA
- mode: n only
- auto channel scan
- transmission rate: best (automatic)
- channel width: auto 20/40
- security mode: wpa personal
- wpa mode: wpa2 only
- cipher type: aes
Hope that's enough information to figure out why I'm not getting at least close to 300Mbps connection.
Speed bounces between 19Mbps and 104Mbps. I was getting 130 with other settings, but I'm tired of trying things that aren't working.
