I can't guess if it's one of the known issue such as FIOS, or the router firewall or other.

But since you wrote it can't find the router, is the router within 20 feet and is the channel of the wifi one your Samsung supports?

FIOS Verizon MAC Address Problem

Hi, I used to work for verizon in the past and as far as I know verizon FIOS Sticks your Mac Address on the circuit or FIOS internet service in order to get you more secured "supposed" I bought a new Samsung Smart Tv too a few months ago and have many problems to get it to go on line WIFI, fortunately I remind some cases of verizon Mac address that I have when i used to work with them, so I called Verizon, have them to reset the circuit " They can do it if not ask for a supervisor" before reset the circuit I recommend you to connect all devices wired and the when the circuit is reset MAC addresses will be registered on the circuit and you won't have any problems again, the ban thing is mostly every time you have a new device to connect to internet you will have to do same procedure or cloning Mac Address or maybe a port forwarding the Hard almost difficult to configure ActionTek modem...
