I assume you mean the default gateway when you say your router.

Look in the ipconfig /all and see if the DHCP server is changing also. The PC gets all this information form the DHCP server which for your home user is almost always the router.

If the DHCP server does not change when your gateway changes I would be suspect of the router. Most routers have few configuration options related to DHCP so you can only try things like factory reset and frimware upgrades. Some of the advanced ones have the ability to run things like guest networks and multiple SSID so you need to check the configuration.

When the DHCP server does change or it has a different mac address you have one of the most difficult issues to find in a network. Many times this is unauthorized router but it can also be a misconfiguration PC. You have to hunt these down by mac address and most consumer equipment is very lacking in feature to help in this process.

Also since you are using wireless ensure you are really on your network and did not roam onto a neighbors network. Make sure you are using only a protected network and not using common SSID or keys.
