I stupidly changed the name of my wireless network from one of my 4 networked computers. I got back online on one of my XPs and ended up saving my Linksys settings page with the router's default name instead of the networks actual name ("net").
Now
I'm back online with 3 of the 4 but one of my XPs finds the secured Net
as available but refuses the encryption passphrase --.and I know I've
got the correct phrase -- and brings me back to the connect login box.
When
I attempt to connect I get the dialog box to enter the password and
confirm. The default shows me far fewer dots than my passphrase has
characters. Could that be a clue to something?
Could the encryption which is WPA Personal with TKIP.have gotten messed up on this computer?
I've
tried everything and I'm at my wits end. My other XP is fine but this
one has me stumpted. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
