Broadband Northwest Arkansas

by RWKPALLETINC - 12/3/10 12:42 PM

Posting this so no one else get's screwed.

If you're in the market for a Broadband, but live in a rural area of Northwest Arkansas and happen accross a company "Dlux information systems" that claims to provide a line of sight wireless broadband connection, beware of the following personal experience.

Dlux is a mom & pop company that I've had both a private and corporate account with, and both ended unprofessionally with Dlux refusing to provide support (including paid support), or even acknowledge there was a problem after I personally troubleshooted all of our equipment.

Problems include high latency, intermittent interference, and worst of all complete failure of the connection. We attempted to work with them in deference to the expensive equipment purchase involved; however ultimately when our service requests were refused, we simply said "if you don't provide a professional response for service we will be forced to utilize a celluar broadband service instead," to which we were given the reply "then why don't you." For the same $50.00 a month, we will take the cellular wireless that can go anywhere, over this company's purely static line of sight connection. If you are even remotely considering this company DON'T! You'd be better off with mobile broadband.
