Wireless Internet forum: All wireless?

Without a model number I can't see if that model had WIFI and without the number of meters or feet I can't say wifi is the answer. But let's note that AC POWERLINE BRIDGES are an option for many.

Google or use Amazon to find AC POWERLINE BRIDGES. As the maker documents what these are, how to use and install I'll stop here.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00841410.pdf shows no standard wifi. You can add it with your choice of wifi card and while some dis USB WIFI, I use them but you can imagine that I'm self supporting and will not give it much time and will swap a non-working solution out in minutes.

Ok, add wifi and it should be fine at 30 feet. Or get a powerline bridge and forget wifi and all that you would have to learn.

You must use a wired connection to set up the router. After all is set up and running you add the wireless adapter to the desktop and unplug the Ethernet cable. Remember this. If you need to reconfigure you must do it wired. Well, let me clarify. You can make changes wirelesly but if you make a mistake you can loose connectivity. Best to do it wired.
