Wireless Adapter Randomly Disconnecting [Netgear WG111]?

Hello. I recently purchased a Netgear Wireless-G router and a Netgear WG111 Wireless adapter. One of the computers in the network is wired, the other is wireless. The wireless one (my personal computer, the other is the family computer) has been acting funny. About a week ago my wireless connection kept being dropped randomly, so I uninstalled and re-installed all the wireless adapter software. This did not help. So I decided to try Windows 7 Beta for awhile, and my connection was perfect the whole time i was using it. However, I switched back to XP Professional SP3 last night becuase I wanted to. Now I am having the same problems. I can really only gain access to one web page before my Internet goes down. Windows Firewall is off, and there are no other firewalls on the computer. I tried disabling Windows Zero Configuration, but that did nothing. Then I tried disabling the software that came with the adapter and just use Windows Zero Configuration, but that also yielded no results. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be and how to fix it?
