connected but can't view web pages

As title says My computer is connected to the internet (via a wireless router and an Airlink USB wireless adapter)at 100% signal strength (Hp desktop). I can receive and send emails via Outlook express. All web pages return a page cannot be displayed message. My laptop (Dell) in the other room has no problem.

HP desktop
XP home
D Link router
Airlink USB wireless adapter

Having the same problem. Everything indicates computer is connected. The anti-virus updates come in fine but when clicking the IE icon to display the home page, I get the "can't display the web page" I am thinking its something with IE7, do you have IE7?

Are they disabled on the computers? If not disbale them and try that.

Same problem

The internet connections worked perfectly until I played halo multiplayer online and now i can't connect anymore but it works still on the other laptops i have.

It says it cannot be repaired automatically
It also says that the network adapter is damaged
