Dial-up forum: Installed latest dial up software can't connect now

Well I am using a Dial Up ISP have been for a long time but since buying a new Notebook I had their 8.3 version and it was working but it was slow I conected with their Chat Support and they advised I needed the latest 8.4 to be used with Windows Seven Home Premium. I could not download it so they sent me a CD once I installed it I cannot connected at all I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it many times since they told me I needed to just use 8.3 but now it seems that the 8.4 has left something on my notebook and seems to overrides anything I do. I can connect but it never opens my homepage seems to just stay at the dial up page like I am just starting to log on even if I try and open IE it tells me I cannot do that and yet I am connected of so it suggests. I have contacted their Chat Support and they are always telling me to do different things and it never corrects this and now I can only use my desktop computer to get online. What are my options for other dial up service since I cannot afford DSL or Cable? I looked at them but I am afraid they are not set up for Windows Seven like my current one is unless you are able to load their software once you do it might work and it might not... Like it is now for me...Why have the dial Up ISP dropped Email Support and only have Live Chat is it because it is all outside the USA where the support is. I have use them before and they never have been able to correct the issue I am having even when they connect remotely to my computer they check and set everything and as soon as I am done and end the chat it stops working once I restart the computer. Seems that everying is now set up for high speed connections and yet some still use dialup so why is it they have left some of us behind. Like my ISP is pushing DSL but at double the price the area phone company offers it but it did not work had too many tech issues with them area phone DSL service so I went back to dial up and now this??? Just so hard to pay 60.00 a month when you only use it maybe 3 hours a day... So 13.00 is in my budget and the time I use it... Am I just out of luck using my new notebook with dial up and the internet???
