Wasting internet cap

Hi, I want to find out if there is a program I can download that will show me what is downloading or uploading from the internet. If I open my Vodamail it starts downloading and I dont even have a program open. What is it downloading? Regards Hantie

What is a Vodamail? What is 'opening it'? How can you see that it is downloading? What is the relation with 'dial up' (the subject of this forum)?

Wasting internet bandwidth

Hi, I am not sure where to start, that is why I started with dial up. I have an external Vodacom modem (Vodafone), it shows me how much bandwidth is downloading and uploading while it is open. I want a program that tells me what is downloading from the internet. It updates stuff on my computer and I want to know what. All programs is closed, Outlook etc. But it is still drawing bandwidth from the internet. My anti-virus and Automatic updates is off. Hantie
