Need Help On Dial Up

I live in a very rural area and can only get dial up. So i signed up with PeoplePc and having such a hard time getting what I pay for . I have read the blog ( post ) and have made notes of all of the numbers and people to contact to get PeoplePc to stop my billing.
I then signed on with Earth Link and now I am finding out that they are connected with PeoplePc. So does any one know of a number to get rid of them as well ?

Is there any company out there that can help prople with a dial up and want take them to the cleaners and products a good services ?

Any suggestion is welcome.

Today it seems I find people wanting dial up and TECH SUPPORT for every issue for a dial up price.

Sadly those days look to be over.

Can you try out another wireless access method like you see at 3gstore.com?

I can only get dial up in my neck of the wood. and it is very selected on that as well. not much to choose from

Be sure you can separate the issues of needing hardware support (modems, wiring) and such from the service. There are companies which will do both but you will pay about 200 or more a month for the service.

why you didn't sign up with your phone company? PeoplePC and ALL other vendors use "the phone company's" facilities for their service. Does your phone company offer dial up service? If so, go with them. And I'll let you guess who owns all the copper, cable, and facilities connecting your home. It sure ain't PeoplePC.

Yes I did go with my phone company but a snail moves faster. So that is why I choose to go with something faster being in my area I can not get DSL.
