Pictures hay on webpages

I use Windows XP Professional edition and on wireless dial-up connection.

Recently I have noticed that the pictures on the webpages are hazy/blurred. Refreshing does not bring clarity to the pictures/photos on the webpage. But the photos on my hard disc are clear.


What should I do? I would like to get to the bottom of this and solve it once & for all. It has become quite annoying.


Any help greatly appreciated.

These work by shrinking the pictures and they do get fuzzy.
