You can get a catch-a-call machine that lets you take calls. It will ring when you get a call and you can answer or not. Emerson has one too. I thank it is called emerson switchboard. I saw catch-a-call on ebay for $18.00 including shipping

You should download the software program called CallWave at www.callwave.com. For a small monthly fee, $3.95, this software will take your calls and then playback the callers message through your computers speakers. The message will be saved for replay or you can delete it. You will also need to contact your telephone company and ask them to add "call forward on busy" to your line. The CallWave instructions will explain this step.

There is solution for that too , but only if u have a call waiting option enabled in u r service , if u have that option available u can ask u r service provider to use that option .

It took me a long time to finally get my Call Waiting to work when I was on line. I have Windows 2000 Professional. I tried enabling Call Waiting through the Dial-Up properties Rules--didn't work. I tried BuzzMe--didn't work. I tried the Emerson Switchboard--it was a waste of money. Finally read on one of the forums that my Call Waiting, Caller ID would work with a V.92 modem with Modem on Hold capability. Bought an external Zoom modem and it worked like a charm. The software allows the call to ring on my computer and gives me a Caller ID screen with different options to handle the call. If I take the call, I can talk for about 5 minutes without having to dial up again. This way I don't have to pay an extra monthly fee forever to the phone company for the Busy Call Forwarding service that is needed for programs like Call Wave and Pagoo. Find out if your ISP access number supports V.92 first. Good luck.
