Losing SBC Yahoo! DSL Connection. PLS HELP!

hello, I am running on Windows XP pro edition and I got sbc dsl last january...up until now i have had no problems with it and i have been quite satisfied. As of today I start up my computer and everything works just fine...I start playing Counter-strike and afte about 15 minutes my connection started going very slow with pings up to 1000 ms and then it would freeze it so id have to disconnect. I restarted my modem and computer and it still did the same thing even when i was just surfing online.

I tried to ping www.yahoo.com when i would start losing my connection and it would come back in 35ms, 350ms, then 1000ms. When i tried it again i got no results. My modem is the speedstream 5100 that they provided me with. Please give me some ideas... :*(

it's time to call SBC support.

You might try a system restore.
