I'm currently an AT&T customer getting DSL 6mps service. I'm moving to a new location next month and AT&T cannot provide this service, they can only provide 3mps DSL. I'm not a heavy user but am becoming more and more dependent on a quality connection (VOIP, acct software being hosted offsite, google drive, etc).
My local cable provider will not provide service, satellite internet via Direct TV doesn't appear to be adequate.
My question is this... is a wireless broadband connection via a company like Telepacific a viable solution? It would be an antenna with line of site communication to one of their hubs. I've been reading mixed reviews. Also, does a symmetrical connection make any difference? Any advise would be appreciated.
