It seems that speeditup does not do what it says on the tin

I downloaded speeditup (broadband speed booster ) today and it slowed it down ! My broadband speed before usage was 4765 kbps and after I installed it this was dramatically reduced to 3595 kbps,and to make matters worse my disc cleanup no longer cleans up ! -not working as it did -it just refuses my requests. Can anyone help me to sort out this little problem-thanks to speeditup I will never use this product again. Regards to all

Wouldn't we try System Restore to the day before this event?

Try system restore back a restore point before you installed this.
