The reason I am asking, as stated before I have the Telus Optik package,
Internet / TV. When watching TV the picture freezes for 1-2 seconds and
then jumps forward to catch-up, it happens a lot, so much that I must
reboot the router up to 2 times
to fix the problem, also get sound and picture out of sync problems and
so must reboot the system. Internet is okay, but speed is really
variable and latency is also all over the place. When using video chat
or playing online games it seems like the freezing I get with the TV
also happens to the internet stream. I am on my 3rd router, the previous
routers had stopped working. I have not received any helpful
information from Telus or I should say any info. from Telus. The serviceman who replaced my second router
said; "It is what it is".
