COMCAST Up/Down time

I receive my services through a COMCAST bundle (HD cable / internet / phone).
The last 4-5 months, I've had frequent, and what I consider, long term outages. The outages don't necessarily occur every day, but a majority of days, and can last up to 6 hours or more for a single incident (one day I tracked the outages and they totaled more than 15 1/2 hours). The outages don't affect my cable, just the internet and phone. As far as I can tell, the cable modem seems to be running fine - I've run modem diagnostic tests, however, they're only available when the net is up, so it's a moot point.
Every time I've just about had it - and am ready to complain to COMCAST - everything is working fine. Just this Monday (9/20/10) a segment aired on our local ABC station - where a woman had a similar problem (including cable), she had 20 COMCAST service calls and ended up appealing to the TV station to intervene - of course COMCAST acted immediately to resolve the issue. I don't have the patience or willpower to go through what she did.
I would like to provide COMCAST with a log of my down time - something with several weeks of data. Is there a within Win7 or a standalone product that can track downtime for my internet connection?
