I usually need to click "Try Again" Why?

I just upgraded? to IE7 and I get this message with frequent regularity.

<B>"No connection to the Internet is currently available.
To view Internet content that has been saved on
Your computer, click work off line."

Click Try Again to attempt to connect.</B>

IE7......XP sp3......and Verizon DSL.....
Every time so far the Try again click always works.

maybe change to cable. It is central station overload. It's Verizon DSL problem ; I have that same problem with Netzero as well.

Firefox does not have the same problem........It must be something with IE.......in fact I have another computer on the same connection with IE6 and it does not have the problem

I just used Firefox for about 2 weeks until I could not stand it anymore.......I then made IE the default browser again and the annoying message is gone....

I used to let it go too long til I got the OP's message, too, but now, whenever, using Firefox 3.0 especially, I drop down my bookmarks and the little URL icons start to go away leaving just a "white page", I know it's time to reboot. So I don't let it get to the 'try again' screen.
