can't open 192.168.1.1

Dear Sir,

I tried so many times but i am not able to open 192.168.1.1 I would like to conncted with router,my net is working perfectly..router is linksys and model no-BEFW11S4,so how can i open 192.168.1.1 no screen is coming like user id and password..

with the USB cable and disks, first?

wall > isp modem/router > Linksys wireless router > wired/wireless

If you are connected to the router, try this.

Press the Windows button and R key at the same time. This should bring up the run command.

type ipconfig /all (space between the g and/)

look for the default gateway. Whatever it is, be it 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1

type that address in the address bar of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. It should then prompt you for your username and password.

If that didn't work, press and hold the reset button in the back of the Linksys router for 30 seconds. Insert the Linksys disk.

Sir,

asper your instruction i do that but yet it can't open,and the problem is i lost my cd of router.so now any way to set up it??

If you reset the router in the back for 30 seconds

and found out your default gateway is 192.168.0.1 then it should give you a login screen. If you did NOT change the password, the login should be

username=admin
password=none


should get you into the router. Setup per forum sticky.

sir,

i do that but it is still not open look sir first of all i connected modem to router and now e'thing is ok and now I done all and started browser to open 192.168.0.1 but it is still no open suddenly come out after sometime the page can't open.

so sir this happen because of cd? or anything else?? thanks sir
