How to create mail files in ios6 on iPad 3?

MacFixit solved this problem for me on my MBP; now I need to solve the same problem on my iPad 3, ios6, Mail. I can't make files for incoming emails I want to categorize and keep since I have a POP server for email currently. So, is there a work around for my POP-based emails, or do I have to go to an IMAP server with all that entails--new email addresses, etc?

My email provider

My email provider is Time Warner's road runner service. I'm using an iPad 3, with iOS 6.

check with RR in your area to see if they supply an IMAP solution.
They do in some areas.
If they do, use that.

If they do not, then the solution is to set the preferences on the Mac to NOT DELETE email when you download it.

Do the same on the iPad and you should be OK.
