Apple Mail Cant Send/Receive

iMac G3 PPC, OS 10.4.11, APPLE MAIL PROBLEMS
Earthlink Tech says all its settings are correct (see below), but I can't send/receive my emails. I need help!
Daniel S: Account Type : POP3
Daniel S: Incoming Mail server (POP Server) : pop.earthlink.net
Daniel S: Incoming Port (POP Port) : 110
Daniel S: Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP server) : smtpauth.earthlink.net
Daniel S: Outgoing Port (SMTP Port) : 587
Daniel S: SSL Should be unchecked. (If available)
Daniel S: Secured Password Authentication should be unchecked (If available)
Daniel S: Username should be your complete Email address.
Daniel S: Outgoing server requires authentication your complete Email address and password.
