I can do that also but how do I prevent the sender of the message I forwarded from receiving the message he sent me if he is part of the group?

That's my problem.

In Entourage, when I forward the message to the Group. I can open up the BCC and temporarily remove the name of the person who sent me the message I want to forward to the rest of the group.

Do you know how to prevent that?

Outlook won't let me open up the group in the BCC section.

When I send the email, I can open up the group.

Any receiver will not be able to open the BCC in Entourage or Outlook or anything else.

As the creator of the email, you can open the group but if Apple or others tightened up security to disallow opening up the BCC Group from the BCC line then you may be upset with me when I write "that's a good thing."

Please forgive me for not being more clear.

I, as the receiver of the message who wants to forward it to friends who happen to be in the same distribution group as the sender - cannot open the group in the message I want to forward - so I prevent the forwarded message from also being sent to the member of the group who sent me the message I want to forward.

Hope I did a better job of explaining my problem.

The BCC is specifically for use when you don't want the receivers to know who it went to.

Nothing new here so if you need me to re-write this I'll try.

I can see what you are trying to do here.

I know that you an do it in Apple Mail, open up the group from the BCC line and remove one member from that group, and then send the email.

While I have Office 2011, it did not come with Outlook so I cannot offer a reason or a work around for this situation.
I must admit that it does not really make sense that you cannot do it. As the originator of the email, you should be able to adjust a group on the fly from the address area.
