Looking for: Contextual Menu Item: Hardlink selected files

I am looking for a contextual menu item for Mac OS X, which allows me to create hardlink(s) for the currently selected file(s) either "here" (at the current directory) or "elsewhere" (filebrowser follows for selecting a target directory).

So far my research within general Web Search Engines (Google, Yahoo) and Software Repositories (VersionTracker.com, MacUpdate.com, Apple.com/downloads, Download.com, SourceForge.net) with all possible permutations of my search terms "hard link hardlink contextual menu item cm" was without success.

Hopefully someone here knows the software I am looking for!

If you can't find a ready-made one, you can use On My Command to make your own contextual menu item that triggers a command-line "ln" command to do what you want.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion!

1) It's great to have such a general purpose do-it-yourself contextual menu item toolkit, as I am a scripter/programmer anyhow.

2) And it solved my particular issue!

a) There was a readymade plugin called "Duplicate (Hardlink) in..." by Bjoern Wenz available at http://free.abracode.com/cmworkshop/commands/606.plist and also available through OMCEdit's command library, which can be very conveniently updated from the internet by just one mouseclick within the app. You can conveniently search the command library, and then integrate your desired commands (like code snippets). A great free software!

b) I wrote a plugin myself "Hardlink here", which I already submitted to the OMC command library collection, and in the meanwhile, until it is accepted there, it is available at: http://drop.io/hardlink_here_contextual_menu_item_for_finder_macosx

OnMyCommand is one of those highly useful apps that I find most people don't know about that I've been able to make great use of over the years. Glad it works for you.
