I like the built in search although still not as fast as Mozilla on my Macbook pro.

Built-in search

I must be missing something. I can't find a built-in search. The only search I see requires that you go to the Help menu, unlike Safari where the Google search is actually right there in the menu bar on the top right. That was one of the things I couldn't figure out: why a Google search is easier in Safari (one click) than in Google Chrome (two clicks). Also, when I post on my blog (via Wordpress), Google Chrome often gives me errors (in which I lose everything I've done after the last update), but Safari doesn't. I do agree about the speed, though.

Where you type in the URL, that's where the search engine is as well.

This browser is in beta only meaning (for me) that it is not ready for prime time yet. The official site states that Chrome is for Intel only, which is a big surprise, and an unpleasant one at that. I tried it once several months ago and did not like it because of lack of good customization (don't remember exactly what it was). Speaking about speed, I bet iCab is faster. If one has a reliable browser that does everything one needs and has no issues with passwords, bank sites, downloading and printing, why bother?
