Disk Utility Message

When I used Disk Utility to verify my LaCie disk, I received this message:

Disk Utility stopped verifying "LACIE" because the following error was encountered:
The underlying task reported failure on exit.

What does this mean? Thanks.

This article only refers to OS 10.4.3 or later. I have OS 4.11. I would like to buy DiskWarrior, but do not know which version to buy and if it is capable of being upgraded to OS 6 when I start using my iMac.

Hi joyss! It's good to see you. If you want the old crowd, visit http://www.finetunedmac.com/forums/ for the successor to the now-defunct MFIF.

OS 10.4.11 is later than 10.4.3. The numbers are not decimals. The last I checked 11 was bigger than 3. Disk Warrior has been updated to work with 10.6 and will work with 10.3 and later. For complete requirements, go to this Alsoft page.
