-> Yes, it's a great site. The forum policies are pretty clear and the reason your post lives on is by what an insane great job you did on the site.

It's rough to find the right words but this one is right on the edge of that magic line. The problem of allowing any site promotion is once it's allowed, it becomes an excuse for others to do the same.

It's a good site and as I noted, the insane great ideas is what kept me from voting to remove this.

Here's what I'm asking. Top posts with links to your own web site can be over the line (read the forum policy). To keep it from going over, it can't be a product for sale item or another forum (this one should be clear why this is so.)

There's this other unwritten item about how many forums to post before it's considered too many. The number is one pair.

I play Doom 3 at 1680x1050 on my Dell 2005FPW (granted, it's on a Windows box). It's not a selectable option -- you need to enter this command into the console:

r_mode -1 r_customwidth 1680 r_customheight 1050 vid_restart

You can also play it the 1440xWhatever resolution -- just change the 1680 and 1050 above to the proper values.

I added Doom 3 and the fix

Parallels works great if you just wnat to you 2D programs. But any programs that are 3D will not work at all with parallels (such as videogames).

That right there is the con of Parallels.

The pro is that you don't have to choose either Windows XP or OSX. You can run Windows XP in OSX with Parallels, but it is not as powerful. Parallels is also a resource hog in OSX.

Appearance, news article, discussion forums have all been updated.

RSS feed has also been made.

The USB drivers are obviously loaded on the Windows side or your existing peripherals would not function.

I wonder what else is going on?

Are you new devices detected at all?

What devices are they and do they have their own power supply (if needed)
