Software for creating invitations with photos

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum. Let me know and I will post this question elsewhere.

Looking for a software program that will allow me to make an invitation (to my daughter's first communion) using digital photo as part of the invitation. I have an Epson R200 printer and an Epson scanner. Thanks in advance.

Photoshop Elements (about $100) is probably a good

investment. It's probably overkill for an invitation, but a good investment if you've already got a printer and scanner.

Making an invitation is mostly being able to position the photo and text in the right places on a sheet of paper. Elements can easily do this.

Fold a sheet of paper, probably into fourths, to figure out where the photo and text should be printed. Position them appropriately within Elements and print. If you need to print on both sides of the paper, print one side first, turn it over, and print the second.

includes the ability to do exactly what you want. Its also got a built in photo album/organizer now. The downloaded version from Adobe is 89.99. In a box on CD-ROM it is 99.99. B & H Photo and Video have the PC version for 92.95 and the Mac version for 85.95. There is an additional charge for shipping.

I downloaded the free serifsoftware yesterday. I'll give that a try and see if it is what I am looking for. It looked good on my first run through. But, I have been interested in an excellent photo editor as well. Thanks for the tip.

Bought Photoshop

I tried the free download. It was a bit complicated. I wanted a good digital photo editing software, so I went ahead and bought the Photoshop last night. It looks great and easy to use. Thanks guys!
