First off, you are taking this waaaaay over board. Your local police might be taking these courses, but the odd's of them stopping to see if you have counterfeit material is VERY slime no none. And if they do, over 3-20 disc's do you know how much paper work that is? They're not going to arrest anyone. They are simply going to give you a warning and tell you to remove the material from you stand sale or " clam - possible arrest "
Even if they did, there is so much more criminal activity going on that they SHOULD be paying attention to than someone at a tag sale. So your VERY bold comment isn't necessary to be made in the fashion you did.
Now for you comment ( Which is so ridiculous, it made me truly LOL )
<div>"
You merely pay the legal life time rights and loaner fee's to view it and use it but you will NEVER in any way shape or form Own It. Got to read all that (fine written tiny printed stuff) folks"</div>
Firstly,
When you go to a store and you PURCHASE a PC/MAC/Software/CD/DVD/Blue-Ray movie you DO own it. Your not being loaned it from the store or a place like Netflix. The only situation that applies under is when you is rent or are loaned some type of material. So YOU can read the fine print which I have numerous times. When you PURCHASE something you are taking ownership from a corporation that is selling you the product and in return BUYING the rights of ownership.
Lastly, cause I can go on and on about your dumb comment ( since you think or sound like your a cop or married to one, who is giving you FALSE information so you can post and sound like you know a think or two. If they so seize (not *sees* ) your backups they don't have the right to enter you home. That doesn't fall under " Reasonable doubt or Probable " cause. They have to actually see you taking that material from inside your house to the outside in order for it to be Probable Cause. And more to it, but I'm not about to make this post anymore longer over those laws.
THE ONLY statement you made that I can agree with, is a lot of people do click the " Accept " button to quick without thinking about reading what your installing. Take the 5-10 minutes everyone and read what your installing and agreeing to. You wouldn't sign a 2 page document concerning yourself and your activities without reading it, would ya? ( Please answer no.... LOL )
<div>So all, in all, I hope you all understand that "
MOTHER-nostromo" gave you the wrong advise, which is why she has 4 thumbs pointing down on her comment and not 1 giving any type of credit to her BOLD statement, cause I wouldn't even give her the benefit of calling it a post. </div>
Have a nice day everyone and stay safe a love your family and friends,
