Multimedia forum: how to join AVI and WAV file

While I could use Virtual Dub to bring in the audio I fear that most would ask me to write a tutorial in the replies here. This is why you should look at Video Editors which there are too many to choose from.

In a video editor you can drop in the sound track, move it around to get the sync then create your DVD.

It would be to get it on some Apple computer and any of the fine video editors that Apple supplies. Why? Because this might be your first time at video editing and you might be frustrated at most PC software today.

About the "automatic sync." I think there is such out there but so far, without fail all sync incorrectly. This is why most folk add the audio track and then nudge it back and forth till they think it's right.

everything sounded strange. I know the photographer did it..but why this way? Didn't the photographer gave you a playable video?

Yes there are software that can do this but don't know which one (I have never done it).

Can you play these on a vcr or movie camera? I probably would get a dvd recorder and record everything in dvd discs and later you can put them in your computer and edit them. There are many capable software program that can do this. Of course there are devices that can capture the video directly to the computer harddrive as well but it has been my experience that recording to a dvd record is the best way to do it..in my opinion.

But I don't like that method. I preferred to play the video to a standalone "dvd recorder" and create the dvd with that recorder.
